At 6 am this morning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja, we waved goodbye to our friend Terry McGill of Sister Schools as he started on his long journey back to Seattle, Washington and home!

Yesterday was fun

I was awakened by a sharp bite on my finger!

I hope tomorrow will be better!

We discussed ways to protect this reserves' resources and agreed that the Fulani themselves should patrol the borders.

  This time, the issue was, no road into the drilling site the leaders had chosen! 

It was a tumultuous night. As the drill began, so did a strong wind storm and finally rain. And as the heavy rain began to fall, to a background of thunder and lightning, so did WATER BEGIN TO SHOOT OUT OF THE GROUND! WE FOUND A HUGE AMOUNT OF WATER! People were dancing and shouting in the rain, as the drill continued to produce the water we’d looked for!

It’s been another wonderful day on Bobi reserve. We found water in an area a few meters from the first failed site in Kilishi, then moved on to the second site in Old Man’s village, next to the ‘Big Dam’.
