Schools For Africa, directed by Phyllis Sortor, is working together with the Nigerian Government on several on-going projects: 

  • Schools for Fulani children

  • Primary healthcare for Fulani families

  • Establishment of grazing reserves for Fulani herdsmen

  • Water and grass restoration

    To date we have accomplished:

  • Strong trust relationship with Fulani herdsmen

  • Renewable collaboration contract with Federal Ministry of Agriculture

  • Invitation to open schools in every geo-political zone in Nigeria

  • Full management of grazing reserves in three states:

    1.) Bobi Reserve in Niger State

    2.) Ero Mountain Reserve in Kogi State

    3.) Lafiya Grazing Reserve in Ogun State

  • First teaching reserve in Nigeria: Ero Mountain Grazing Reserve, Kogi State

  • 19 Schools for Fulani children, with 3 more scheduled for 2023!

  • 6 healthcare clinics for Fulani families, with 3 more scheduled for 2023!

  • Boreholes, water systems installed on all three grazing reserves, at each clinic, and every school.
