We have a BIG JOB to do!

ALL in the next three months, we hope to:

finish the paddocks and borehole in the new Imala grazing area we call 'Lafiya' (which means PEACE, in the Hausa language!)
build a school for 300 children in Jouro's camp (see a picture of Jouro below!)
repair the Jesus Bridge (THANK YOU Oasis Church!)
build a low wall around the City of Refuge
build six additional classrooms for the growing numbers of Fulani at Apiawoyi Primary school
build a new clinic in Kogi state (THANK YOU Bowman's Creek FM Church!)

Thankfully we have an amazing, strong team (including masons, carpenters and overseers) that we can divide into three groups doing the various projects simultaneously!

Pictured is Director Phyllis Sortor with Alhaji Jouro, a STRONG advocate of education for Fulani children. Four of his kids are presently at Hope Academy, Emiworo. Jouro, a Fulani chief living some distance from Hope Academy, has offered SFA land and requested a school in his area for the over one hundred children living there. How can we say no?!

Schools For Africa at Arlington Free Methodist Church August 14th!

Several SFA board members will be present to share a brief ministry update Sunday morning at 10:00am. We will have Phyllis's books available to purchase! We will present the Kidnapped Redemption film Sunday evening at 5:00, following a BBQ!
