MOGODI CAMP SCHOOL

Located on an abandoned government estate in the outskirts of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Families have been permitted to live in the abandoned houses on this estate, and we've been allowed to use one building for our school. Other families, such as the Fulani have preferred to settle not in these buildings, but in their traditional huts, built nearby on land still under government control.

Mogodi Camp School in Rivers State has been open for only one year, but already eighty-one children of various tribes are rapidly learning to read and write under the excellent guidance of the three teachers, Chamberlain, Ojo and Francisca.
